Where are meetings held?
In our offices on Chorley New Road, Bolton, but we can also come out to clients’ homes or places of work. We’re also happy to conduct meetings virtually via video call. It’s your choice – wherever is most convenient for you.
Do you have parking?
Yes, we do.
Do I have to pay for an initial meeting?
No. Initial meetings are at our expense.
What do I need to bring to an initial meeting?
Ideally, a brief overview of income and expenditure and assets, cash, investments and pensions etc.
How long should I allow for an initial meeting?
One hour.
Do I have to sign up to your services at an initial meeting?
No.

Are you independent?
Yes, we are. Being independent means we can access products and services from the whole of the market and are not restricted in where we look for financial solutions to help you achieve your aims.
Are you regulated?
Yes. We are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). You can see our registration here.
Can you advise on final salary/defined benefit transfers?
Yes, we can.
What happens if my Financial Planner is away on holiday?
We have a locum in place who can answer any of your immediate enquiries.
What do you charge for a financial plan?
As each individual’s circumstances are different, we will need the discovery meeting to advise on the costs
Do you take a percentage or are your fees fixed?
Both. Our fees are a combination of fixed fees and a percentage of the assets we manage for clients. We will discuss which fees apply in your circumstances at your initial meeting.
Do you take commission?
For some life insurance and protection policies we do receive a commission.
Do you charge VAT?
Only in exceptional circumstances
